TAKIS SUMMER SWEEPSTAKES– OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE
NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: Takis Summer Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on May 5, 2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on July 31, 2025 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). The Sweepstakes will consist of thirteen (13) weekly Entry periods (each a “Weekly Entry Period”). Each Weekly Entry Period will start at 12:00 a.m. ET and end at 11:59 p.m. ET (except for the first day, which begins at 10:00 a.m. ET). See chart in Rule #4 below for details. Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of date of Entry (“Entrant”). Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of Barcel USA, LLC (the “Sponsor”), TPN Holdings LLC, AEG Presents LLC, Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. ("Administrator"), each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, representatives, directors, officers, employees, agents, successors, assigns, franchisees, mandataries, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment, and marketing agencies, web site providers, web masters, and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings and children, regardless of where they live and whether biological, adopted, step or in-law) and those living in the same household (whether or not related) (collectively with Sponsor and Administrator, the “Released Parties”) are not eligible to enter or win. Participation constitutes Entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and to Sponsor's and/or Administrator's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of winners. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
TWO (2) WAYS TO ENTER:
Purchase Required/Online: During the Sweepstakes Period, you may receive one (1) Sweepstakes Entry by; (i) purchasing two (2) or more 8.0 oz. or larger bags of Takis (any flavor) in a single purchase (“Qualified Purchase”) from any location where Takis® snacks are sold; (ii) visit: www.TakisSummerSweeps.com (“Website”), (iii) take a photo of the valid unique receipt (“Receipt Photo”) showing the Qualified Purchase. Receipt Photo must clearly show the receipt in its entirety. For Takis items purchased from an online retailer, please submit your applicable invoice in lieu of the receipt. Entrants should keep their receipts until the Sweepstakes Period has ended. The Sponsor reserves the right to require an Entrant to provide the original receipt for verification purposes upon request; (iv) complete the online registration form consisting of the following required fields: Email, First Name, Last Name, Address, Date of Birth and Phone Number, (v) Upload your Receipt Photo. Each eligible completed registration form received with the uploaded Receipt Photo, will earn the Entrant one (1) Entry (“Website Entry”) into the applicable Weekly Entry Period’s random drawing. Limit one (1) Entry per Weekly Entry Period. Returning Entrants will be required to enter their email address, bypassing the already completed registration form. The uploading of the Receipt Photo must be completed by 11:59 PM ET by the final day of that week’s Weekly Entry Period to be included in that Weekly Entry Period’s random drawing. See chart in Rule #4 below for Weekly Entry Period timing.
No Purchase Required/Email: To receive one (1) Entry into the Sweepstakes without making a Qualified Purchase or uploading a receipt, send an email with the subject line “Takis Summer Sweepstakes Alternate Entry” to; takissummer@dja.com in the body of the email along with your First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Date of Birth, and Phone Number (“Email Entry”).
Website Entries and Email Entries will be collectively referred to as “Entries”. Limit one (1) Entry per person, per Weekly Entry Period (as defined in the chart below), regardless of entry method, for a total limit of thirteen (13) Entries per Entrant overall. Each Qualifying Purchase and corresponding Receipt Photo can only be used once.
Sponsor may void and render ineligible any Entrant that the Sponsor determines in its sole discretion to have violated or attempted to violate or subvert the Sweepstakes Official Rules or applicable policy, rule, law, or regulation. Any attempt by any Entrant to obtain more than one (1) Entry per Weekly Entry Period by using multiple/different email address/accounts will void such Entries, and that Entrant may be disqualified. Use of any automated or computer system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or invalid Entries, which will be disqualified, or lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections; or miscommunications, computer or software malfunctions, telephone transmission problems, technical failures, garbled transmissions, damage to a user's mobile device/computer equipment (software or hardware), or other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Entries specifying an invalid, non-working, or inactive email address will be disqualified and ineligible to win.
THIREETEN (13) WEEKLY RANDOM DRAWINGS: A random drawing will be conducted on or about each Weekly Entry Period’s Random Drawing date indicated in the chart below, to select one (1) Weekly Grand Prize winner for each Weekly Entry Period. All random drawings will be conducted by the Administrator, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the drawings. All non-winning Entries will NOT be rolled into any subsequent Weekly Entry Periods’ drawing(s). The odds of winning a Weekly Grand Prize depends on the total number of eligible Entries received during each Weekly Entry Period.

WINNER NOTIFICATION/VERIFICATION: The potential winners will be notified via email by the Administrator and will be required to sign and return a Declaration of Eligibility & Liability Release and where legal, a Publicity Release (collectively, the “Declaration”) within twenty-four (24) hours of notification attempt. If winner’s guest is a minor the minor must be the winner’s child or charge. In the event the Declaration is not returned within the specified time period, prize notification is returned as undeliverable, Sponsor or Administrator is unable to contact the potential winner, or a potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected, time permitting.
THIRTEEN (13) GRAND PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): Each Weekly Grand Prize will consist of two (2) concert admission tickets (up to an ARV of $500) and one (1) Sponsor designated gift card valued at two thousand dollars ($2,000) to be used for travel expenses. Total ARV for each Grand Prize: $2,500. Total ARV for all Weekly Grand Prizes: $32,500. Gift card is subject to terms and conditions. The confirmed Grand Prize winners will be required to select one (1) concert at least forty-five (45) days in advance of the concert date from the venue listing below and coordinate date/concert with the Sponsor and may need to select an alternate concert, based on ticket availability at time of selection. If winner’s guest is a minor, they must be the winner’s child or charge. All concert tickets must be picked up at the corresponding venue. Government identification or other legal forms of proof of identity, as accepted by each venue, will be required. Winners will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the actual value of the Grand Prize for the year the prize is awarded, for tax reporting purposes. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted, except as permitted by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor may award a substitute prize or prize component of comparable or greater value if the prize or prize component listed becomes unavailable for any reason. Winners are prohibited from selling, auctioning, trading, or otherwise transferring the prize. Winners and guests must abide by all concert and venue rules and regulations. All tickets-related components for AEG Presents are issued subject to the applicable ticket terms and conditions available at https://www.aegpresents.com/terms/. In the event that a winner or their guest engage in behavior that (as determined by Sponsor in Sponsor’s sole discretion) is inappropriate or threatening, illegal or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, Sponsor reserves the right to eject them from the concert, and send the applicable winner and their guest home with no further compensation to winner.
GENERAL RULES: By participating in the Sweepstakes, each Entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator. WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern, and control. Entries become the property of the Sponsor. The Sponsor and their agencies and Administrator are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Website or the Sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the Entries in the Sweepstakes or for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, accessing or downloading information in connection with the Website or Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute as to any Entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the Entrant. “Authorized account holder” of an email address is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Sponsor, and/or Administrator are not responsible for the failure of any email or Entry to be received by Sponsor/Administrator on account of technical problems or congestion on the internet or at any website. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or Website; violates the Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes or Website may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes or Website, then the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel the Sweepstakes and select the winners at random from among all eligible Entries received during each Weekly Entry Period prior to cancellation. By entering the Sweepstakes, you hereby represent and warrant that you have read these Official Rules and are fully familiar with its contents.
RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: All Entrants and guests agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and Released Parties from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with submitting an Entry or otherwise participating in any aspect of the Sweepstakes, the receipt, ownership or use or misuse of any prize awarded or any typographical or other error in these Official Rules, or the announcement or offering of the prize. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor, and those with their authority, to use a winner’s name, and likeness for promotional purposes (including any possible public relations opportunities) without further compensation except where prohibited by law. By entering, Entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; violates these Official Rules; acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner; or acts with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. DISPUTES: EACH ENTRANT AGREES THAT ANY DISPUTES, CLAIMS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION, AND EXCLUSIVELY BY THE APPROPRIATE STATE COURT LOCATED IN TEXAS IN THE UNITED STATES. THESE OFFICIAL RULES ARE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS IN THE U.S. WITHOUT REGARD TO CHOICE OF LAW OR CONFLICT OF LAWS RULES. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND VENUE IN THESE COURTS AND HEREBY SUBMITS TO THE JURISDICTION OF THOSE COURTS.
PRIVACY: Information collected from Entrants is subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy located at https://barcel-usa.com/privacy-policy. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrant hereby agrees to Sponsor’s collection and usage of this information and acknowledges that Entrant has read and accepted Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
